On July 7th, 2005 there was a series of London underground terrorist bombings during the morning rush hour. Fifty-two civillians and the four bombers were killed, over 700 injured. These attacks happened soon after London was chosen to host the 2012 Olympics. At the 2012 Olympics, London did a special tribute to honor those people who lost their lives or lost their loved ones. It was cut from broadcasting in the USA and Canada (these are the only two I know of who have done this, but it might've been others). Instead (at least in the USA, I don't know about Canada) it was replaced by a Micheal Phelps interview. A Micheal Phelps interview. T
